Penny Peyser


Penny Peyser began her acting career playing "The Girl" in the original Off-Broadway production of Lanford Wilson’s Hot l Baltimore at the famous Circle in the Square Theater in New York. She was featured in many TV commercials, including a shampoo spot with Kareem Abdul Jabbar, back when he still had hair! Penny’s first film was the Academy Award© winning All The President's Men, where she played a choice scene opposite Dustin Hoffman.

Peyser made the move to Hollywood where she landed the role of "Ramona" in Rich Man, Poor Man II, followed by a stint as Tony Randall's daughter in The Tony Randall Show for CBS. Her mini-series and television movies include The Blue & The Gray with Stacy Keach and Colleen Dewhurst, Wild Times opposite Sam Elliot, and BJ & The Bear, along with many guest star roles on everything from The A-Team to LA Law

Penny had the pleasure of playing Alan Arkin's daughter in the cult comedy classic, The In-Laws, and Gene Wilder's bride in The Frisco Kid-- where she got to kiss Harrison Ford-- much to Doug’s chagrin.

Other memorable TV series include Crazy Like a Fox with Jack Warden and George Clooney as her brother, and Knots Landing.

Penny Peyser is also a talented writer/producer/director, having made the award winning feature documentary Trying to Get Good: the Jazz Odyssey of Jack Sheldon and is in production on a new film, Stillpoint.
